I posted there first. See my post there. Apparently nobody knows anything. I know outlook for Mac uses EWS instead of mapi, doesnt anyone know of a way to reset EWS so it can regenerate permissions from exchange itself instead of using a cached version? Or am i completely wrong on how it operates?
The other two users are running Microsoft Outlook 2011 for Mac on Mountain Lion. The person who owns the calendar to be shared with everyone else has a Windows 7 computer. After having shared the calendar with the other four people, we realized that only Windows users could open it, as they received an invitation e-mail with a link in it.
I know when changing the alloted maximum attachment size you have to do it manually in EWS as well as Exchange. I've reset the IS as well as IIS and rebooted the server as well with no luck. I can still open the calendar in outlook on PC but Mac still gives me the same error. I even checked the permissions for the shared calendar on a Mac and it displayed the user as having full rights.
Google seems to be useless at this point for the first time in my life. Lol - The key to success is many failures. We have the same user opening other Shared calendars without a problem on the Mac.
The calendar has been shared out properly, like I said I can open it in Outlook for Windows. I made sure he's using the latest version as well and it's not just his computer. Other Macs also are not able to open the calendar when configured for the same user but are able to open other calendars on other users. If it was a bug with the program, I'd be getting more generically instead of specifically with these two users (the shared one and the opening one). The key to success is many failures.
